He still speaks today! God speaks to impart His faith, His strength and His wisdom to man. Those who listen and obey will receive all its benefits..
There are three particular passages of scripture that God has spoken to my heart. The first is found in Job 22:26-30. In this passage God says that the person who will decree and declare a thing before Him will see those things established and light will shine on his ways. What have you decreed and declared before God; things concerning your family, your marriage, your finances and your community? Declare it boldly before God in Jesus’ Name and watch God’s light shine upon you.
The second scripture is found in Isaiah 60:1-3. God says to you and I to arise and shine for the glory of God will arise upon us. Let us shine the light of the gospel and the lost will be drawn to it! Let the light of Jesus’ love glow through you this year.
The last scripture speaks to us of the blessings God has in store for us. Amos 9:13, I especially like the way it reads in the “Message” translation. “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim from one thing fast on the heels of the other. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”
God is ready to restore and increase His blessings upon the church for the reaping of a great harvest of souls. So get yourself in position to receive by faith and prayer.

We are literally seeing …

the words of Jesus come to pass before our very eyes. He said in the last days that men’s hearts would fail them as they look upon the things that are happening in the world. He went on to encourage His followers that they should “not let their hearts be troubled.” This is easier said than done sometimes.
I believe there are a few things we each can do to protect ourselves and keep anchored fast with our faith in the living God and His Son Jesus Christ.
First, make sure you listen more to what God says in His word about your circumstances than you do to what men are saying about your circumstances. God’s perspective is eternal and above the natural wisdom of men. He has declared that His word will not return to Him void, but will accomplish all He has purposed it to do. [Isaiah 55:11]
Secondly, as we continue to trust God we must plant seeds. We must be like the widow woman in 1 Kings 17 to whom God sent the prophet Elijah in the day of famine. She had reached the end of her resources and was ready to die when God gave her another choice for her future. She could eat her last meal and die or she could trust God and plant a seed for a new future. Right now everyone is making choices about their future. Some in fear withdraw and allow a kind of “fortress” mentality to come upon them in which they will do their best to survive. But others will decide to trust God and keep planting their seeds and choose the future God has for them.
Thirdly, keep reaching out to God in prayer and to people in ministry. This is a time of tremendous opportunity to draw closer to God. When pressure comes we will react in one of two ways; get angry and blame God or get busy drawing closer to Him. Reach out to encourage and lift other people and share your resources whenever possible. The light shines brightest in the darkest places! Let yours shine now! People are looking for hope; what better place to find it than in the person of Jesus Christ.
So keep listening to God, keep planting seeds, keep seeking God and keep reaching out to others and your light will shine and bring hope, help and healing into their lives.
For His Kingdom,
Pastor Norris & Cindy
How wonderful it is …

to belong to Jesus! Everyday with Him truly is sweeter than the day before!
I want you to remember that God has a plan for you! He has a hope and a future for you that are good no matter what you may be facing today. Trust in Him, hold fast to His promises. He will not fail you.
When the enemies of Israel came against them in battle they believed God and He gave them the victory. They had to fight the battle, but the victory was sure. Our faith in God and in His word assures us of victory every time. So don’t lose heart because things may be tough right now, but rather persevere and hold fast to your faith in the living God and He will bring you out.
God has a plan for us at Grace as well; to reap a harvest and to advance the Kingdom and cause of the Lord Jesus Christ. Together we can possess the land! Together we will possess the land! But it will take each one of us doing our part to see the vision accomplished. I want to thank you for your past support and urge you to continue to pray for the harvest, the vision and ministry of Grace and to support it with your involvement and giving. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul who said, “Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint.” These last few months we have been sowing our prayers, our giving and our service. We are close to our season of reaping if we do not quit. Let’s press on in and reap!
Cindy and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have done and all that you are doing to work with us to accomplish God’s will for Grace and South Florida. Give yourself whole heartedly to that which is eternal and lay up treasure in heaven.
Let’s go in together and possess the land!
Pastor Norris & Cindy
