Haiti Relief

I am sure you are aware of the recent devastating earthquake in the nation of Haiti.  The plight of these precious people is desperate but not hopeless.  If everyone will do something we will see this nation lifted up and restored by the grace of God.  First, pray for the people and leadership of Haiti.  Pray for their safety, deliverance and healing.  Pray for wisdom for those leading the recovery efforts.  Pray for the body of Christ to rise up and bring God’s healing power to the Haitian people during this time.  Secondly, give financially to lift the burdens and ease the hardship of the people. You may give two ways.  You may give online through Grace’s online giving(mark it for Haiti) or you may click on the link provided and give to the International Missions Organization which has a 30 year proven track record in ministry to the Haitian people and has “boots” on the ground right now.  They will put your money into immediate relief for the people.  Either way, thank you for praying and giving to lift their burden.

SETTING THE PURPOSE OF OUR FAST: ISAIAH 58

1) My Family Purposes: Establish specific target areas for your fasting and prayer for your family.

Some areas to consider are;

• Marriage relationship to be strengthened.
• Children to know and follow after God.
• Direction for the upcoming year.
• Financial blessing/increase.
• Favor/promotion with your job/career.
• Health and healing for your body.

2) My Church Family

• Wisdom for Pastor & Elders at Grace.
• Increase in fruitfulness.
• Greater anointing in ministry.
• Greater release of believer’s ministries.
• Open doors for ministry in radio, website and creative ways of reaching the harvest.
• Release of God’s financial blessing in an increasing manner for the accomplishing of the vision He has given Grace.
• Health and healing for the body of Grace.
• Grace to grow to 200 by end of 2010.

3) My City: Blessing our city in prayer for:

• Peace
• Businesses to prosper
• Open doors & favor for the gospel to be preached.
• Wisdom for the mayor and leaders of our city.
