ABOUT OUR PASTORSPastors Norris and Cindy Braswell were born again in 1976 and 1982 respectively while they were still in college. Pastor Norris responded to the call shortly after getting saved and has given almost 30 years of service to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Ministering both here in the United States and in eight Latin American countries, including nearly four years of residence in Bolivia and Argentina, has given both of them first-hand knowledge about the needs of hurting humanity and has engendered a burning passion to reach out to them with compassion. Their desire is to bring hope, help and healing to those who have been beaten down and to equip disciples to minister in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Norris is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Institute in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Jacksonville State University in Alabama. He has been the director and has written curriculum for four different Bible Schools both in the States and abroad. For eighteen years he served as an associate pastor. He also served on the board of directors for Agape Missionary Alliance and Wellspring for Women, and spent two years giving Leadership Training to church leaders in Argentina. He is a gifted and anointed teacher.
Cindy is a graduate of Binghamton University and Oneonta State College in New York and is a Spanish teacher and the Foreign Languages Department Chairperson at Santaluces High School. As a wife, mother, ministry partner and professional, she is well acquainted with the challenges each of these jobs present while endeavoring to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the home. In 1993, she was healed of cancer and through her living testimony has helped countless others facing similar obstacles.
Norris and Cindy met on the mission field in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1984 and have been happily married for nearly 25 years. They are blessed with three wonderful
children: Jessica (23), John (22) and Jason (17). Norris and Cindy became pastors at Grace in 2005 and have a big vision to be catalysts for spiritual and numeric growth in a culturally diverse area… reaching South Florida and beyond in the years to come.
