Music Ministry
The vision of the G.C.C. Music Ministry is to build a team of people who have been gifted by God with musical abilities that will lead others into the Presence of God through anointed praise and worship. We are intent on winning souls and equipping believers through a lifestyle of worship.
If you are interested in auditioning for any facet of the Music Ministry, pick up a Volunteer Application at the Information Center in the church foyer. Submit the completed application to the Information Center or scan and email to music@graceonthemove.org
Music Ministry Requirements:
- Be a member of Grace Community Church – includes attendance of membership class & review of beliefs.
- Be born again, committed to tithing/offerings, and actively pursuing a close relationship with the Lord through prayer, Bible reading, small group or young adult involvement and regular church attendance.
- Complete audition and interview.
- Attend scheduled bi-weekly rehearsals (twice monthly on Sunday, 1:00-2:30) and be punctual for pre-service rehearsals beginning at 8:45 a.m.*
- Attend at least one Sunday afternoon rehearsal before participating in a service.
- Have necessary equipment to listen to monthly rehearsal CDs of new music. Rehearsal CDs are available for $1.
- Commit to 6 months of ministry.
- Commit to church attendance outside of music ministry commitment.
- Be teachable and submissive to authority.
- Be committed to prayer and worshiping the Lord and have motivation to glorify God.
- Must be at least 14 years old.
